HSE First Aid at Work
This course is approved by the Health and Safety Executive, for the purpose of Health and Safety (First-Aid) Regulations 1981.
Course includes:
Introduction and working of
the body, resuscitation and recovery position, choking, control of
bleeding, treatment of unconscious patient, dressing and
immobilising injured parts, transporting sick and injured patients,
recognition of illness, treatment of injuries, treatment of burns
and scolds, eye irrigation, poisoning and chemicals, Health and
Safety awareness, general role play of an accident, simple record
keeping, communication and contents of first-aid box. The
certificate awarded is valid for three years.
