This course enables young people to gain expereince in the industry, whilst gaining further qualifications to improve their floristry skills and knowledge.
Entry RequirementsIt is essential that your Initial Assessment results should show that you are working at Level 1. You should also have the following:
- GCSEs at grades A-C in English and Maths would be an advantage
- A suitable work placement (we can help to find you one)
- A good reference

- Plant care and identification
- Sympathy flowers

- Window displays and promotion
Functional Skills
You will also gain nationally recognised Functional Skills qualifications (English, Maths and ICT).
What Next?Apprentices may progress to Advanced Apprenticeship NVQ Level 3 in Floristry. Alternatively, successful students might work within the industry as a qualified florist, either in their own, or an already established, floristry business.
