Course DescriptionThis course is designed to provide a highly specialist work related qualification. Through a balance of classroom experience and work placements, students will learn the necessary skills essential for successful performance when working in the Health & Social Care industry.
Subjects include:
- Developing effective communication
- Anatomy and Physiology
- Diet in Health and Social Care
- Sociological perspectives
- Psychological perspectives.

In addition, students will gain a qualification in Essential Skills English and Maths.
