About This Course

On your first day with us we check your level of English with a test and an interview with one of our lecturers. This will help us find the appropriate group (average group size 10/11, normal maximum 20) for your language level. Classes will cover the four main skills: reading, writing, listening and speaking. Students will be working towards Cambridge examinations (First Certificate in English (FCE) and Cambridge Advanced (CAE)). Taking an examination is not compulsory and the fees are not included in the price of this course. About This Course

Students will be working towards Cambridge examinations (First Certificate in English (FCE) and Cambridge Advanced (CAE)). Taking an examination is not compulsory and the fees are not included in the price of this course. Gloucestershire College usually offers the Cambridge exams in June, subject to a minimum number of candidates. In addition, you will be able to participate in the full-time students' social programme and use the excellent college facilities such as the library. For a small extra charge, you can also join the college excursions to places of interest in this area.

Additional Notes

There will be a course book fee of about £30 to pay at enrolment. Materials fees levied for: course book. Course fees are £21 per class (prices held from last year). Fees are payable in advance for the term.
