Description

Who is this course for? The course is for young people 16-18 who have, or are recovering from, a mental health condition. CourseLink courses run for 5-7 weeks each. At the end of CourseLink C students are eligible to apply for CourseLink D. Students can join at any time during the year. What qualifications or experience do I need ? Students need to have literacy skills at E3. This can be shown by a qualification or by a test at interview. What will I study ? Students will study Art and Personal and Social Development. It is hoped that studying on CourseLink will allow students to increase their confidence and skills. They will then be able to progress to our 4-day-a-week programme CourseLink Extra, or onto mainstream courses or employment. Students can progress onto CourseLink Extra after 6 weeks if their attendance, punctuality and engagement is good. How do I join the course ?
