CACHE L2 Award Babysitting (WS) 16-18

Who is this course for? Learners 16 - 18 years old in schools and colleges What qualifications or experience do I need ? Learners should be at least 16 years old. Level 1 literacy What will I study ? In college 3.5 hours per week 6 credits - 4 units from mandatory units and a further 2 credits from optional units at either level 1 or 2. How will I be assessed ? Course work, assignments, professional discussion Units graded Pass or Refer What qualifications could I achieve ? Level 2 Award in Babysitting What can the course lead to ? These knowledge only units prepare students for future learning and training as well as providing life skills. Unit certification. How do I join the course ? You will need to apply through course information by completing an application form. Will I need an interview ? No. References will need to be submitted in the first lesson. Are there any extra costs for equipment/materials ? Paper and pens Access to IT Further Information Work experience is not required as all the learning is knowledge based. However, to enhance your ability it will be beneficial to engage in part time work.
