You will be required to attend college and study within a class environment. Students are expected to do independent study and complete work experience placements You will be required to complete 8 units which include the 4 mandatory units Communication in Health and Social Care 5 2 Individual Rights in Health and Social Care 5 2 Individual Needs in Health and Social Care 5 2 Ensuring Safe Environments in Health and Social Care How will I be assessed ? Assessment will be completion of assignments and completion of work experience placement What qualifications could I achieve ? BTEC First Diploma in Health and Social Care What can the course lead to ? It is anticipated that learners will progress to the Level 3 Diploma in Health and Social Care (Adults) for England (QCF), or to specialist qualifications reflecting the context in which they work.
