Assessment is through: *1 examination *2 x coursework What qualifications could I achieve ? On successful completion of this course, you will achieve an AS Level in Film Studies. What can the course lead to ? On successful completion of this course, those studying an AS Level can continue on to A2, a full A Level. The successful completion of an A Level, coupled with other subjects, will help you progress onto Higher Education, and advance in other film and media related careers such as screenwriting, journalism and production. How do I join the course ? You must complete a full-time application form and make an appointment for an interview with a tutor. References will be required from your previous educational establishment. Will I need an interview ? Yes, before you can enrol. Are there any extra costs for equipment/materials ? During your course there will be some additional costs for textbooks and the purchase of DVD's. Cinema visits are essential and access to appropriate computer software.
