Who is this course for? A student who wishes to study full-time to progress to university courses having recently achieved a range of GCSE qualifications. What qualifications or experience do I need ? GCSE grades A*-C in at least five academic subjects in one sitting. Grade B/C in GCSE English * Grade B/C in GCSE Maths* * - one GCSE must be a minimum of B What will I study ? AS Business Studies specification - 1131 Examining Board - AQA Unit 1: Bus 1: Planning & Financing a Business Unit 2: Bus 2: Managing a Business How will I be assessed ? Assessment will be through: 100% examination according to the specification of the awarding examination board for each subject. What qualifications could I achieve ? On successful completion of this course, you will achieve AS Level certificates in each subject on your programme. What can the course lead to ? On successful completion of this course you may progress to Year 2 of the A Level programme to take A2 subjects according to the subjects and grades that you have achieved. How do I join the course ? You must complete a full-time application form and make an appointment for an interview with a tutor. References will be required from your previous educational establishment.
