Advanced Auto CAD A3 First Course

Who is this course for? The use of computer aide design (CAD) systems almost all industry has become an essential tool part of the modern working environment. It is used at all stages of the design period, from conceptualisation and production of working drawings to the production of virtual reality images. These qualifications aim to further candidates understanding of the CAD using AutoCAD 2011. What qualifications or experience do I need ? This is a course for beginners and no previous qualifications are required. What will I study ? You will study: 1. Create template files, Calculate and set drawing limits etc� 2. Create Paper Space layouts, Utilize Paper Space for printing, Create viewport in Paper Space, Plot a final drawing project etc� 3. Create blocks and wblocks, Insert and modify blocks, Use the hatch and hatchedit command etc� 4. Create and edit dimension styles etc� 5. Programming such as: creating custom line type and micros etc� How will I be assessed ? You will be assessed through 2 practical assignments and an on-line test. What can the course lead to ? Depending on your knowledge of AutoCAD, it is advisable to follow the progression route from AutoCAD Level 1 to AutoCAD Level 3. We also offer courses in Autodesk Rivet, 3D Studio Max and Solidworks.
