Develop your skills in making and printing etchings with our More Etching short course - ideal as a follow-on from the Introduction to Etching course.

You get to refine and develop your skills in the fundamental techniques of etching and develop a deeper understanding of the unique nature of etching.
We hope the course will build an empathy with Samuel Palmer’s view that etching is "an elegant mixture of the manual chemical and calculative… (that) has something of the excitement of gambling without its guilt and its ruin".
There is no formal assessment.

You will gain further insights to an addictive and consuming technique that has been used by artists since Rembrandt.

Completion of Introduction to Etching is recommended
