Level 3 Extended Diploma in Public Services

Introduction

This course is designed to equip you with the skills, knowledge and understanding required for success in current and future employment within Public Services.

What Will I Learn

The course will develop your skills, personal qualities and provide a basis for further study and motivation towards career development. The course will enable you to focus on career paths into uniformed public services.

How Will I Be Assessed?

Assessment is continuous, based on assignments and practical activities including expeditions and fitness training.

Entry Requirements

You will be expected to have 4 GCSEs at grade C or above, including English Language, or equivalent qualifications, e.g. Distinction at Level 2. Entry is also dependent on an interview and a written English Language assessment and fitness test.

Additional Information

There will be a course contribution fee of £200 for materials.

Progression

Following successful completion of the course you will be able to progress into Higher Education or further training with the industries.

Career Opportunities

You will be able to consider a number of Public Service occupations within the Armed Forces, Police Forces and Prison or Security Services.
