Level 3 Diploma in Bench Joinery

Introduction

This bench joinery course is for you if you already have a Wood Occupations Level 2 qualification, working in the industry or have experience in the industry and need a recognised qualification to help improve your job prospects.

What Will I Learn

This course will help to develop the skills employers in industry are looking for such as technical and practical skills, problem solving, numeracy, literacy, team working and communication.

How Will I Be Assessed?

Progress and achievement is recorded throughout the year via practical assessments, theory assessments, external tests and a practical synoptic assignment.

Entry Requirements

You must have a minimum of four GCSEs including English and Maths, and show a genuine interest in bench joinery. Entry is also subject to an interview, basic skills screening, initial assessment and a Level 2 construction-related qualification.

Upon successful completion, you may proceed onto a Foundation degree in a construction-related field.
