This course is designed specifically to equip you with the skills and knowledge required to care for children from birth to 16 years-old, including babies and toddlers. The course will give you a level 2 qualification that enables you to apply for nursery assistants vacancies.What Will I Learn

How Will I Be Assessed?
Assessment is continuous, based on assignments, practical work and workplace performance. There will also be an external exam.Entry Requirements
You will be expected to have 4 GCSEs at grade D or above, including English Language, or equivalent qualifications. Entry is also dependent on an interview and a written English assessment. An enhanced Criminal Records Bureau (CRB) check will be requireAdditional Information
There will be a course contribution fee of £100 for materials. You will spend 3 days per week in College and 2 days per week in your placement.Progression
Upon successful completion you will be able to proceed onto the CACHE Level 3 Diploma in Child Care and Education.Career Opportunities
