BTEC Diploma in Vocational Studies (Entry 3) (QCF)

Introduction

This full-time programme offers young people aged 16-18 a variety of opportunities to learn, train and develop skills for employment.

What Will I Learn

This programme will provide you with opportunites to learn and experience across a variety of curriculum areas to include Art and Design, Childcare, Travel and Tourism, IT and the Hairdressing and Beauty Therapy industry.

How Will I Be Assessed?

A portfolio of work will be developed from each module, giving you a comprehensive work record to use for progression opportunities.

Entry Requirements

You must be 16-18 years of age, attend an interview with the Course Tutor and show a willingness to work hard.

Additional Information

Students will be provided with a uniform and kit for modules in Hairdressing and Beauty Therapy.

Successful completion of this exciting new programme will provide you with the potential to move to a full-time course across the College.

This vocational qualification is designed to equip you with a taster of skills required within different settings. Career opportunites would be available across all example modules at a junior level.
