Introduction

This Chartered Institute of Environmental Health Award covers fundamental food hygiene training for all food handlers. Food poisoning is normally caused by negligence or ignorance; making sure you and your staff are well-trained and informed is one of the most successful and cost-effective ways to reduce the risk. The law requires that all food handlers are trained or instructed in food hygiene matters commensurate with their work activities.
