How Will I Be Assessed?

Progress and achievement is recorded throughout the year via practical assessments, theory assessments, external tests and a practical synoptic assignment. You will also be given your own assessor to help build and assess your portfolio.

Entry Requirements

You must have a minimum of four GCSEs including English and Maths, and show a genuine interest in the bricklaying industry. Entry is also subject to an interview, basic skills screening, initial assessment and a Level 2 Diploma in Brickwork or equivalent.

Additional Information

You will also study a qualification in Functional Skills in either, Maths, English or I.T.. A course contribution fee of £50.00 will apply, this contributes towards an external trade-related trip, course textbook and course administration. You will have t

Upon successful completion, you may proceed onto a Foundation degree in a construction related field.

Career Opportunities

You will be able to find employment within the industry such as a Junior Site Manager.
