Advanced Apprenticeship In Hairdressing (Level 3)

Introduction

This is a vocational qualification which is designed to equip you with advanced skills required within the workplace.

What Will I Learn

You will develop the knowledge and practical skills required to produce the latest trends and techniques as an advanced hairdresser.

How Will I Be Assessed?

The programme is 100% coursework based. Students will be required to develop a portfolio of work in fashion retail which demonstrates achievement of all learning outcomes associated with each unit. This will be supported by both internal and external moderation.

Entry Requirements

You will already hold a Level 2 Hairdressing qualification along with a high level of commitment and be working in a hair salon.

Additional Information

Additional costs: Studio fee £35.00 (per academic year). This course is equivalent to achieving 3 x GCSE Grade C. Time commitment: 2 years, 2.5 hours per week.

Progression

On successful completion you may go onto a variety of programs such as a higher apprenticeship and Foundation degree.
