Hairdressing Diploma Level 3

Who is this course for?

This course is suitable for you if you are looking to develop more advanced skills in hairdressing.

What will I do on the course?

You will have the opportunity to gain the advanced knowledge and skills required within the Hairdressing profession through both practical and theoretical sessions. In addition, you will learn skills that are required in any career choice, including health & safety, confidence building, social and practical skills, and English and Maths. We also offer English and Maths GCSE resits. What will I learn:

• Health & safety
• Consultation
• Human resources
• Gents cutting
• Ladies cutting
• Colouring to achieve a variety of looks
• Colour correction
• Bridal
• Creative hairdressing design

What qualifications do I need?

• 4 GCSEs at Grades A-C including English or Maths, OR
• 5 GCSEs at Grades A-C excluding English or Maths, OR
• Level 2 Hairdressing qualification
• Adequate standard of English and Maths
• Mature learners with other qualifications and/or experience are also welcomed
• You should have a strong interest in working in the hair and beauty industry and demonstrate a commitment to succeed

Are there any additional costs?

Learners are required to purchase a basic tool kit and uniform in order to participate in the course. Prices and details will be discussed at interview. Bursary funds may be available to help with additional costs.
