This course will introduce you to the basic skills and techniques required in dressmaking. You will learn about Asian fashion, couture and bridal wear, with an introduction to fashion design, textile processes and sewing techniques. You will develop good skills to independently create your own styles such as Salwar Kameez, Sari blouses and couture hand beaded wedding gowns.

The course will also introduce you to general business skills which are particularly useful if you are considering setting up your own business in the Asian dressmaking sector.
