This qualification covers a range of subjects such as psychology, sociology and physiology to teach you the skills needed to progress into a career in health and social care or to study at university.

All lecturers have a professional background in the Health and Social Care Sector. During your year guest speakers and off site visits to local care providers will give you an insight into a variety of different settings. You will work alongside professionals in your choice of work placement one day a week to put knowledge learnt into practice.
