Description

Level: Level 3

Biology is the study of life. You will explore topics as diverse as genetic engineering, human health and disease, biodiversity, ecology, physiology of exercise and climate change.

You will have access to well-equipped laboratories, ICT suites, local ecological habitats and the facilities at Sparsholt College. There is a field trip to both sand dune and rocky shore habitats at Studland and Kimmeridge Bay in the summer term. Teaching staff are educated to Masters Level in Biologically related subjects, and are regular contributors to scientific publications and societies.
