Course Description

This advanced level qualification are for people who are already working in bookkeeping and have a good understanding of bookkeeping and want to progress in being firm accountants or accountant assistants. You will learn the following on the course: How to use a suspense account and eliminate bookkeeping errors, understand the function of trading account, profit and loss and balance account, understand how to apply accounting policies, categorise items of income and expenditure, maintain records and make accounting adjustments related to stock, account for bad and doubtful debts, prepare financial statements, prepare extended trial balance, prepare staements for not for profit organisations etc.

Entry requirements:
Must be good with numbers (at least a Level 2 in Numeracy), good reading and writing skills and able to use a computer.  

Qualification:
Certificate in Bookkeeping Level 2
