Description
Students wishing to learn a new language or develop their existing knowledge for private, educational or professional reasons may wish to enroll on one of our General English courses. We provide courses at all levels from beginner to advanced. During your lessons you will practice communication skills; speaking, reading, writing and listening as well as pronunciation. The teacher will give you an informal Progress Test every Friday to check how much you have learned in the week. The aim of the course is to help you to use English well in everyday situations and improve your fluency and confidence.

First session: 8.50 – 12.00 (including a 10 minute break)
Second Session: 12.30 – 3.40 (including a 10 minute break)
Third session: 3.50 to 6.50 (including a 10 minute break) –
There is an additional hour-long skills class focussing on speaking, reading, writing or listening for students attending this session.
Entry requirements:
Applicants must meet B1 requirements under the CEFR framework.[read more]
Minimum age 18 years at the time of registration.
Before starting your course you will be tested to ensure that you are placed in the correct class and you will need to buy a copy of your course book (approximately £25 but you may be able to buy them second-hand for £15). The teacher will follow a syllabus for your level but will also use other materials to supplement the course book.
Maximum class size 20
Note: In additional to the tuition fee the students may be expected to pay an examination fee in the region of £85 to £120
