This learning package has been developed by BPEC to help plumbers update their knowledge of this important legislation that is used to control the installation and use of water supply systems.This is aimed primarily at practising plumbrs who already have a knowledge of hot and cold water systems or to water inspectors and anyone who is involved with the installation, design or specification of water systems or with buildings containing water systems. it will also be of benefit to those learners with limited previous knowledge.
How long is the course?
1 day.How will I be assessed?
This consists of an open book assessment that contains a blend of multiple choice and open response questions. There are two sections in the new assessment:Section A contains 30 general questions about the Water Regulations
Section B contains 10 questions specifically on backflow.

What does the course lead to?
Certification with BPECApplication for Approved Plumber status
Go on to the list of Approved Contrators with Water Companies
Entry requirements
Either a formal craft qualifcation e.g. national Vocational Qualification Level 2 in heating engineering or plumbing OR to be able to declare that you have relevant experience from the water industry.How much does it cost?
