This course will provide you with an understanding of caring for children in the home and in the community. It will also give you the opportunity to learn valuable parenting skills. In addition to this there are units to support your own personal development.How long is the course?
One year with the possibility of a work placement in term 3. Please note - you will be required to have a CRB check that you will fund prior to undertaking a placement.How will I be assessed?

Upon successful completion you could progress to the Level 1 Foundation Diploma in Caring for Children, or other related Level 1 course available at the college.Entry requirements
