This is designed to test the gas safety competence of an operative in the work of commission, service, repair and breakdown of all direct fired forced convection commercial heating equipment with either 100% fresh air supply or recirculated air with forced draught or atmospheric burners by practical and knowledge and understanding assessment.

How long is the course?

1/2 day for training followed by 1/2 a day for assessment.

How will I be assessed?

Through theoretical and practical applications.

What does the course lead to?

The training leads to assessment the same day and if proved competent will lead to registration with Gas Safe Register.

Entry requirements

Candidates must hold a certificate of competence in the following:
Commercial Core Gas Safety assessment COCN1 or CoDNC01 and
Installation first fix commercial appliances ICAE1 or
Installation first fix commercial pipework ICPN1 (required if pipework exceeds 28mm diameter)

How much does it cost?

£150 for training
£75.00 for assessment

All fees are fully inclusive of resources, certification and hospitality. No VAT applies
