This module will develop a detailed understanding of urban drainage systems and their future requirements in response to climate change.

Sustainability and environmental issues relating to urban pollution management and flood risk management are extensively covered in terms of system management and control. Design processes and health and safety issues associated with component parts of the systems are covered. The module also includes the use of hydraulic modelling to solve practical problems.
