Health and Safetyâ at Work Definitions of the terms â
Hazardâ, âRiskâ and âHarmâ Accidents and ill-health
caused by poor standards of health and safety Legal
responsibilities of employers and employees Workplace hazards and
the importance of following instructions, safety rules and safe
procedures Assessment: The Health and Safety Awareness training
course is delivered in 2 hours and Candidates must demonstrate a
willingness to learn along with interaction of group activities.
Cost: Our Health and Safety Awareness training courses are
competitively priced and we guarantee to beat any equivalent
training quote. SPECIAL OFFER- If three, two hour care sector
courses are run on the same day at the same venue the third course
is free of charge. This could be three of the same courses or a
combination of three different ones. Important information The
training venue should be quiet and undisturbed. Staff should not be
expected to be on duty Staff attending should remain for the entire
length of the session

"I found his manner, his training technique and his adaptability brilliant.
In the morning course we had staff only attended.
He was keen to understand what we do, and focused on the elements that feature in our policy and procedures.
In the afternoon course I included 2 of my clients. His approach to them was excellent.
Our clients are recovering alcoholics who have had little to no involvement in further education or training. The feedback from them both was so positive.
