Functional Skills - Maths

This course will prepare you for a City and Guilds qualification in Functional Skills Maths. You will develop skills in understanding and using a range of mathematical concepts and in solving mathematical problems.

A level 2 Functional Skills qualification will usually fulfil the requirement for a level 2 Maths qualification for employment and, in some cases, for entry to university.

End Qualification:

Functional skills in Maths (at a level appropriate to the learner)

Entry Requirements:

No interview required

No formal qualifications needed. An initial assessment takes place during the first session to determine the level of the qualification to be followed.

Assessment:

Assessment consists of an examination which is normally on-line. At entry Level all assessments take place within the taught session.

Progression from this course:

You can progress from this to the next level in Functional Skills Maths or, having achieved a Level 2 Functional Skills Maths, you can progress to a GCSE Maths course.
