Emergency First Aid at Work

The content of this course provides basic life saving first aid and workplace health and safety regulations covering the following; health and safety, first aid regulations, managing an incident, the priorities of first aid treatment of an unconscious casualty, resuscitation, shock, choking, seizures, bleeding and common workplace injuries.

You will learn the techniques required to act as a First Aider at work.

The focus is on completing interactive activities both in small groups and individually. The learning involves using simulated environments and completing practical assessments.

You gain a recognised First Aid qualification.

Applicants may be required to complete skills assessments in Literacy.
