All HE Business courses choose their modules from the same bank of subjects at ARU (Anglia Ruskin University). All that differs is the level. All modules are taught at either HE levels 1 (year 1), 2 (year 2) or 3 (year 3). Modules include: Learning and Skills Development in Business; Managing People; Marketing and Finance; Business Environment and Information Systems. This course can be studied full time (3 years) or part time (6
years).
Entry Requirements:
Interview required
All applicants must have GCSE English at grade C or above or equivalent. At least 2 relevant A-Levels including 1 at grade C or above ( i.e. 180 points or National Certificate/Diploma in Business double distinction or access qualification at merit level). Mature students without the above are considered depending on relevant experience and aptitude.
Assessment:
All modules are assessed by a mixture of examinations and/or written assignments. Assignments tend to be a maximum of 3,000 words for 15 credit modules and 6,000 usually split into three 2,000 word assignments for 30 credit modules. Examinations, if used, are usually two hours in duration.
Progression from this course:
A wide range of career opportunities exist at management level. In the past, students have chosen careers in marketing, human resource management, finance and law whilst others have continued to post graduate study e.g. MBA or PGCE.

Tuition fees for 2013-14 are as follows: Full-time - £6500; Part-time - pro rata (usually 50% of full-time fee).
