Duration:12 weeks Fee: £267 (Price Includes Registration fee of £72)

If you are aged between 19 and 23 and don't already hold a qualification equivalent to 5 GCSEs at grade C or above, and you need to study at Entry or Level 1 to progress to Level 2, tuition fees will be waived. If you meet the Eligible Benefit criteria, tuition fees will be waived. (Registration Fees will still apply).
Course Content: For each qualification candidates will be required to complete the following assessments:

Five practical assignments and one oral knowledge test (per mandatory unit/qualification)

• Produce a tee fillet weld in the PF vertical-up position

• Produce a butt weld in the PF vertical-up position

• Explain the underpinning knowledge requirements for the process (manual metal arc) – Oral knowledge test. Entry Qualification: There are no formal entry requirements for candidates undertaking these qualifications. However, you must have the potential and opportunity to successfully gain the qualification. Course Format: 1 evening per week for 3 hours x 12 weeks
