If you are aged between 19 and 23 and don't already hold a qualification equivalent to 5 GCSEs at grade C or above, and you need to study at Entry or Level 1 to progress to Level 2, tuition fees will be waived. If you meet the Eligible Benefit criteria, tuition fees will be waived. (Registration Fees will still apply).

• Preparing surfaces for repainting
• Applying base coat and primer
• Spraying techniques
• Applying basic top coat
• Tools and equipment
The Technical Award covers the criteria for phase one of the Modern
Apprenticeship Framework for vehicle refinishing, therefore it is
an ideal programme for students wishing to progress to employment
and follow a Modern Apprenticeship.
Students are required to purchase their own tools; this is arranged
with the tutor within the first four weeks of the course. Entry
Qualification: Ideally you should have 3 GCSEs Grade D or above
including Maths, Science and English. Special Features: You will
have the advantage of working with and learning from a standard of
equipment that mirrors the Motor Vehicle industry. Course Format:
