Course Content: This course aims to provide you with a broad understanding of electronics systems design techniques as well as the application of those in various areas, such as telecommunications and consumer products. It will ensure that you complete the course having developed skills such as report writing, communication and teamwork skills, which are of very high importance within the industry

The qualification comprises of 10 units, 6 mandatory;

• Business Management Techniques

• Engineering Design

• Engineering Science

• Maths Projects

• Mechanical or Electrical principles

Along with 4 optional units that can be chosen from a range of mechanical or electrical units. Entry Qualification: For entry onto this course, you ought to have at least one of the following:

• A National Certificate or Diploma in Engineering

• A GNVQ Advanced in engineering of manufacture

• 2 A Level passes in relevant subjects Special Features: There is a choice of specialist units available Course Format: Day Release and Evening Progression: Higher National Diploma or Degree in Engineering.
