Who is this course for?

The course is suitable for all ages (minimum age 19). If you are unsure about undertaking any new exercise, please contact your G.P.

Regular practice of Yoga can greatly improve your health at every level. Yoga is non-competitive. It strengthens the physical body, calms the mind and balances the emotions. It is a wonderful way of de-stressing.

What will I do on the course?

Dru Yoga works with the body's energies and meridians. It encompasses the elements of yoga traditions handed down over thousands of years. It is non-competitive which makes it suitable for all. The experienced yogi, the beginner and anyone with limited mobility are all welcome. It is excellent for managing and improving joint stiffness as in arthritis etc.

Classes include warm-ups, energy block releases, breathing techniques, postures, sequences and deep relaxation. Various types of music are used to create a relaxing atmosphere.

How long does the course last?

The course runs for 1? hors per week.

What equipment will I need?

Loose comfortable clothing and a yoga mat.

It is advisable not to eat a full meal before the class.
