You will be assessed in the theory aspects via assignments, examination and practical assessments. Alongside this work, you will also complete modules on Employment Rights and Responsibilities, Personal Learning and Thinking Skills and Functional Skills English and Mathematics.

What qualifications do I need?

Candidates must hold five GCSE passes at Grade C or higher. Subjects must include English language, mathematics and a science subject plus 2 other GCSEs.

When does the course start?

September

Where is it held?

As with all Apprenticeship programmes, you will be employed in a veterinary approved practise and be visited regularly in the workplace by your trainer/assessor. In addition, you will also attend college on a day release basis and for 'block' weeks each year, these sessions will take place at Rodbaston campus. Some learning and activities may be completed through our dedicated online portals.

How long does the course last?

The duration of the course is between 30 - 36 months.

What does it cost?

The course is fully funded for those individuals who meet the Apprenticeship funding requirements. For those who do not meet these requirements, individual prices can be provided on request. Please note: you will be required to pay for professional registrations through RCVS as part of this course.
