Vehicle Maintenance Repair Diploma Level 3

Who is this course for?

Do you have an interest, or are you already working in the motor vehicle industry and want to gain more experience in vehicle diagnostics? Then this is the course for you.

What will I do on the course?

The course offers you a practical hands-on approach to advanced motor vehicle systems and diagnostics techniques covering a range of subjects to give you an understanding of how to carry out repairs including:

• Electronic principles
• Pressure charging
• Traction control
• ABS
• Electronically controlled transmissions

In addition, you will learn skills that are required in any career choice, including health and safety, confidence building, social and practical skills, and English and Maths. We aslo offer English and Maths GCSE resits.

What qualifications do I need?

• 4 GCSEs at Grades A-C including English or Maths OR
• 5 GCSEs at Grades A-C excluding English or Maths OR
• Level 2 qualification in related subject
• Adequate standard of English and Maths
• Mature learners with other qualifications and/or experience are also welcomed
• You should have a strong interest in working with cars and demonstrate a commitment to succeed
