Travel Tourism Diploma Level 3

Who is this course for?

Are you interested in being a Travel Representative or working in the travel industry within the UK or worldwide? This course covers both practical and assignment-based activities to help you develop the knowledge you will need to gain employment in this area or provide you with the platform to undertake higher level qualifications. You will study a wide range of tpics which may include:

• Investigating the travel and tourism sector
• Working as a holiday Representative
• European travel
• The UK as a destination
• The Cruise sector
• Handling air passengers

In addition, you will learn skills that are required in any career choice, including health and safety, confidence building, social and practical skills, and English and Maths. We also offer English and Maths resits.

What qualifications do I need?

• 4 GCSEs at Grades A-C including English or Maths, OR
• 5 GCSEs at Grades A-C excluding English or Maths, OR
• Level 2 qualification in a related subject
• Adequate standard of English and Maths
• Mature learners with other qualifications and/or experience are also welcomed
• You should have a strong interest in working in the travel and tourism industry and demonstrate a commitment to succeed.

Are there any additional costs?

Learners may be required to purchase minor items of personal equipment during the course. In addition there may be extra curricular trips which have an additional cost. Prices and details will be discussed at interview. Bursary funds may be avaialable to help with additional costs.
