Through a range of theoretical and practical units, you will study areas such as spatial design, photographic practices, materials and textiles, magazine and editorial applications, interior design historical styles and movements, homestaging and fashioning interior spaces.
You will also get the opportunity to study trendsetting and forecasting. You will have the scope to apply your knowledge to domestic interiors as well as retail and commercial scenarios such as hotels, restaurants, offices, theatres or public spaces.

You are encouraged to carry out work experience whenever possible with guidance from the staff team who have strong links with industry.

Year 1
Five core units:
- Historical and Contextual Studies
- Interiors Conceptual Practice (includes show home styling)
- Interiors Design and Presentation
- Materials and Textiles for Interior Design
- Creative Technologies (includes photography and introduction to interiors/architectural industry software).
Year 2
Four core units and one option unit:
- Contextual Studies
- Practice Production (includes live industry projects)
- Interiors Industry Communication (includes live industry client)
- Concept Development (includes editorial design).
Options:
- Marketing Studies

- Curriculum Plus (Work-based Learning, Foreign Language, Community Volunteering).
Year 3
Four core units:
- Historical and Contextual Studies: Dissertation OR Practice Dissertation
- Interior Trends and Set Styling
- Professional Projects
- Major Project.
