You complete a work-based project or dissertation analysing a real issue in your workplace. It draws together the learning gained from the course and often leads to a significant change or development.
We also use action learning sets to ensure your learning is relevant to your workplace. This is where small groups focus on real issues and problems faced by group members and collectively find solutions.
The work-based nature of the course means that your learning directly applies to your current role, and your planned career progression. Your employer will see benefits and real changes for your organisation and for service users as you develop.
Other key benefits include
• learning objectives linked to current service agendas, such as
modernisation and service improvement
• working with other professionals from various health and social
care organisations to share best practice
• combining theory with practice to help manage the day-to-day
