MA Global Management - pathway in Marketing & Communications

The MA Global Management Marketing & Communications pathway provides insight into key global marketing strategy and communications issues and identifies underlying marketing principles and theory.

It will equip you with the necessary techniques and tools for developing marketing strategy and communications programmes including company analysis, competitor analysis and customer focused solutions.

You will gain an appreciation of strategic issues involved in market entry, consumer behaviour, new product development, brand management, sales force management, advertising, segmentation of markets, targeting markets and market positioning in the global arena.

You will have the opportunity to apply your knowledge and skills to real marketing challenges in international settings, and to assess the impact of technology where knowledge of global marketing practices and strategies becomes a prerequisite for success in today’s inter-connected world.

The MA Global Management pathway in Marketing & Communications comprises of 3 semesters.

  • Semester One - Six core modules and choose between 1-2 elective modules. You will study various topics including globalisation, accounting and marketing
  • Semester Two - you will study six core and specialist modules and between 1-2 elective modules
  • Semester Three - the final part of the programme requires you to complete either a dissertation or business research project
