Gain training on how to remove and replace various vehicle body parts using plastic techniques and hand tools with the Apprenticeship in Vehicle Body and Paint Operations.

Training takes place at work so if you want to work with cars and other vehicles in this way – perhaps assessing/repairing damage, restoring paintwork etc. – this could be the apprenticeship for you.

You build the basic skills and experience necessary to carry out many body and paint tasks on a variety of vehicles. You gain a valuable insight into this industry and the future career opportunities that are available to you.

There are no other restrictions to becoming an apprentice except that you need to be over the age of 16 and to have been settled in the UK for at least the past three years.

On successful completion of this Level 2 apprenticeship, you could move on to a Level 3 apprenticeship (if your employer covers the right range of work). Possible job roles include mechanical, electrical and trim technicians, and body repair technician.
