ITQ IT User Skillls Level 2

Develop an understanding of IT software packages to enhance your business and personal computing skills.

Units of learning include: An introduction to systems; Microsoft package; applications of software in the workplace, and the impact of software on business performance.

Teaching methods include: lectures, presentations, demonstrations, podcasts, workshops, assignments, drop-ins and tutorials. Personal learning methods include: individual work, action, research, pair and group working, and flipped learning. Assessment is based on a portfolio of generated evidence and online testing.

An insight into the basics of business IT systems and how to utilise them, as well as a sound base knowledge of generic software.

No formal entry requirements. Acceptance onto the course is related to work experience and background.

Completion of this course will enable you to enhance your professional status by undertaking other programmes in the Development Suite or enrolling onto Microsoft courses, progress to other qualifications at the same level (e.g. from Level 1 to Level 2 etc.), progress to other qualifications at the next level (e.g. from Level 2 Certificate to Level 3 MOS User).
