Door Supervisors National Certificate Level 2 City and Guilds 1900 Course Details The certificate takes you through everything you need to know about the roles and responsibilities of a door supervisor, as well as how to deal with difficult, and sometimes even violent, situations. A Course for If you work, or want to work, as a door supervisor for the pubs and clubs and other premises of England and Wales you have to have a Licence to Practise from the Security Industry Authority (SIA). One of the requirements of a Licence is that you will need to complete this qualification, which has been approved by the SIA. You need this certificate if you are ‘frontline staff’ but ‘non-frontline’ staff such as bar staff and bar managers and shop supervisors would also benefit from having this qualification. This certificate is also of interest to those wishing to gain a qualification to work as a licensed Security Guard. Entry Requirements A good level of English is required. Assessment To be successful in this certificate you will need to complete 30 hours training by an approved City and Guilds training provider. After this you will be assessed by taking two multiple-choice exams onRoles and Responsibilities of Door Supervisors, and inConflict Management.
