Introduction to Dementia Level 2

Introduction to Dementia College Certificate Course Details This 3 hour session is designed to increase the student’s knowledge and awareness of the causes of dementia, symptoms and possible interventions. A Course for Care professionals wanting to increase their knowledge of dementia and family members of people suffering from the disease. Entry Criteria There are no formal entry requirements. Assessment There is no formal assessment; however full participation is required for all the activities and tasks undertaken. Learning Outcome Participants will receive a College Certificate for an Introduction to Dementia Progression after Programme Level 1 Award in Preparing to Work in Adult Care Sector. Dementia Awareness (full day). Or other short courses in Health & Social Care are available.
