Instructing Circuit Sessions Award Level 2 Awarding Body Active IQ Course Details To provide candidates with the knowledge, understanding and practical skills to plan, prepare, instruct and evaluate group circuit training sessions with music. To achieve this qualification, candidates must complete two mandatory units: Y/502/5702 - Planning a circuit training session. H/502/5704 - Instructing a circuit training session. A Course for Those who wish to deliver circuit sessions. Entry Requirements Learners must be in possession of one or more of the following: 1 Level 2 Certificate in Gym Instruction or equivalent qualification. 2 Level 2 Certificate in Exercise to music or equivalent qualification. Assessment Throughout the programme students are continuously assessed using a portfolio of evidence and practical observations. Learning Outcome Level 2 Award in Instructing Circuit Sessions. Progression after Programme The course is recognised as an approved qualification for continued professional development (CPD) at level 2 (20 REPs points).
