Initial Verification and Certification of Electrical Installations Award Level 3 City & Guilds 2394 Course Details The following areas are covered: 1Inspection and Testing requirements of the I.E.E. Regulations. 2Certification and Reporting Procedures. 3Use of Instruments. 4Practical Assessment of Electrical Installations. This course has been developed in association with the National Inspection Council for Electrical Contracting (NICEIC) and will satisfy the NICEIC’s particular requirements that prospective qualifying managers (QMs) and operatives are fully conversant with the requirements of BS 7671 (IEE Regulations) for Inspection, Testing and Certification of Electrical Installations. A Course for Practising electricians who wish to be accredited to meet the new requirements of the electrical industry. Entry Requirements Studentsmust have successfully completed the IEE Wiring Regulations - 17th Edition (BS 7671:2008). This qualification is for qualified electricians who actively engage in inspection and testing. Candidates new to the industry will need to take the initial verification qualification.
