Course Details The Certificates and Diplomas in Engineering will
develop the knowledge and skills you need for a successful
engineering career. You will cover essential subjects such as

drawings and specifications. A Course For Anyone aged 16 or over,
looking to start or progress their career in engineering. Entry
Requirements Level 2: You might be new to engineering - a school
leaver, or someone retraining for a career change. Or your job
might involve some engineering skills as part of a larger role,
particularly in a small business. You want the basic underlying
knowledge and practical skills for an engineering role. You will
need four GCSEs at grades D-E or above, or a Level 1 pass. Level 3:
You might be retraining for a career change, or you might already
have some engineering experience. You want to develop a wider
underlying knowledge and some specialist practical skills. You will
need four GCSEs at grade C or above, including Maths and Science,
or Engineering Level 2 with an average grade of ‘merit’. Assessment
Assessment will be a mixture of practical assignments and written
and on-line testing. Learning Outcome Successful candidates will be
awarded Level 3 Certificate in Engineering Mechanical
Manufacturing.
