The Level 2 Award in Computerised Accounting is a short qualification with one unit. Developed as a stand-alone nationally recognised qualification, the Award in Computerised Accounting is perfect for those who need to get to grips with computerised accounting software and enhance their current knowledge, allowing them to use such software in the work environment. This single unit qualification is available at Level 2 on the QCF.

A Certificate from Sage is a valuable qualification to have on your CV. The course will enable you to work more efficiently and accomplish more in less time!
Assignments for the course are completed online via the Internet and full tutor feedback is provided by email. This is to enable students to develop the skills needed to complete computer based examinations and for this you will require a computer with Internet access. You will receive instructions in your quick start guide along with log in details to access each individual online assignment.
The Sage Certification is an online exam with Sage you can take in the comfort of your own home and is included as part of your home study course so there is no extra cost. You will be provided with a serial number to register yourself for the exam. Once you have done this you will receive an email from Sage explaining how to take your exam and when you have passed the exam Sage will issue you with a Sage Certificate.
In the unlikely event that you fail the exam you will need to pay £63 to re-book the exam and your course advisor at Premier Training will assist you with this. Premier Training will continue to support you at no further cost (within 1 year of enrolling)
As well as your AAT Level 2 Award in Computerised Accounting qualification this does mean that you will gain an additional qualification in Sage Instant Accounts direct from Sage.
You can sit the exam at anytime of the year when you have completed the assignments and mock exam. The most important point is that you will only attempt the exam when you feel confident and fully prepared.
Alternatively it is possible to complete an AAT Computer Based Project or to supply workplace evidence if for any reason you do not wish to complete the Sage online certificate.

*Sage software is not compatible with Apple Macs, unless you are running Windows XP, Windows Vista or Windows 7/8 via Apple’s Boot Camp utility.
